[Exclusive Premiere] Yuto & BOY SODA Look For Money Near The “Apple & Peach”

Australian sibling duo Yuto and Sydney-based vocal extraordinaire BOY SODA are coalescing to form the perfect electro-pop/R&B/hip-hop/soul hybrid single, “Apple & Peach.” The single touches on something painfully relatable: stressful money issues.

When creating the song, Yuto shared the creative process came extremely naturally. The song’s creation flowed quick and easy, like a well-oiled machine, despite three people being part of the development. When the siblings initially sent the demo to BOY SODA, BOY SODA commented it was an entertaining way to look at his horrific money management skills through a funny story line. Don’t you hate when you’re butt naked on Boulevard, full of regret from running high numbers on your credit card, and desperately need to borrow $30,000? Yeah, BOY SODA can relate to all of us there. Sigh, if only money grew on trees.

Although fans of artists such as Louis The Child, BAYNK or Hayden James may particularly enjoy this single, there is something for everyone to love. The introduction features an ascending, warm staccato soundscape. It evokes a fuzzy, warm feeling inside that is just meant to be enjoyed. Soon, BOY SODA’s vocals perfectly fuse within the electronic production, and his dynamic tempo frequently transitions between mellow and smooth to brisk and sharp.

“We have never heard music like this before, especially in Australia, so we are super keen to see the response to this new single. It’s a blend of electronic music with a whole lot of other stuff thrown in, and that excitesus. A goal of ours is to have an undistinguishable song that people just froff on (best feeling as a listener). We want to surprise the listener and keep them on their toes, and we feel ‘Apple & Peach’ could be that song.” -Yuto
