Not a moment too soon F.A.R.M. Fest has released its daily schedule. The folks at F.A.R.M., Future of Artistic and Revolutionary Minds, have crafted a schedule that has us working for the big weekend at Paradise Lakes camp grounds in rural New Jersey.
Music will run from 11:00am until sunrise the next morning on each day except Thursday the 23rd when music will begin at 2:00pm. The G-Nome Project, Desert Dwellers and Clozee will be doing the honors at sunrise, though we have a feeling some secret sets may keep the music going throughout the mornings. Another reason we admire F.A.R.M. Fest’s schedule is the lack of overlapping acts. Each night you’ll have the opportunity to see almost every artist who plays as they are virtually no overlapping sets after 10:00pm. So go ahead, see Liquid Stranger into G Jones into iLL Gates vs. KJ Sawka into Mr. Bill into Clozee. You’ll only miss one other set (The Mantras).
The transcendent folk group Nahko and Medicine For the People will start the festival off with extremely positive and transformational vibes on Thursday at 8:00pm before Papadosio kicks off a late night with Haywyre and Of The Trees. Friday night is funk night, with Freddy Todd and a live band hitting the stage after Marvel Years, Exmag and Psymbionic. Saturday is diverse at first and at last savage, with Space Jesus and his live band performing before folk fun guy Keller Williams and the vinyl spinning, hip hop master DJ Qbert. We say savage because that string of dangerously filthy bass music artists will close the festival until sunrise on Sunday morning.
