LA based trap producer, Falcons, has teamed up with Vancouver beat maker, Ekali, to bring us the ominous trap single, “I Won’t Lie”. Although it caters to trap, the impressive song features an array of instruments. The dark sounding track starts out with vocals provided by Australian singer, Vanessa Elisha. A powerful build up will leave you wondering what to expect right before a variety of flutes, horns, and bass come crashing in.
Falcons & Ekali perfectly incorporate snares and blend in Elisha’s soothing vocals to create a gem of a song. This shadowy single contains elements of pure darkness, and yet holds true with calming flutes and vocals provided by the talented Elisha. Falcons recently released his EP on A-Trak’s label, Fools Gold. Ekali has had two fire remixes in the past months with well over a million plays on each. Both of these artists are quickly rising through the scene and we’re in love with their latest collaboration.
