Famba and Cloverdale has put the best parts of both their styles into one track with “Rush On Me.” The single focuses on a tech house structure and infuses some tasty grooves into the core of this single. A part of what drove the infectiousness of this track is the fact that these two dudes used to be neighbors in Halifax, which is their hometown. That history helps create a creative platform for these two to do what they do best. There is dynamism that is connected to this release as well. Whether you are chilling at home, driving, or working out, the tune would fit in all of the scenarios and then some.
The single releases on label Solotoko, which both of these producers are debuting on.
Famba has this to share in relation to this release:
“Cloverdale and I actually used to live a few blocks away from each other, and we’ve made tons of ideas together,” says Famba when talking about how the collab came together. Cloverdale remembers, “My pal Famba called me up one day with a stack of new demos he’d been working on. We’ve been friends for years, and I knew the demos would be killer. And hot damn, they were! I was stoked [Famba] was diving head first into the underground again, and I’m stoked to be a part of that return.” Famba goes on to say, “We started working on Rush On Me over Discord and finally landed on a release worthy song. It was really fun to finally bring our two styles together for this track!”
