The second month of the year is done and we are all that much closer to festival season. We know a lot of our readers are busy and may not be able to keep up with the day to day news, so we’ve collected what we consider to be the biggest news, music, and festival announcements in electronic music.
Festival News
If this is the first you’re hearing of the Electric Forest lineup announcement, then please take a deep breath before you check out that bill. Bassnectar, Flume, Break Science, Datsik, and ODESZA are just a few of the extremely talented names that will be in the Forest in June. We cannot wait.
Gem and Jam went down earlier this month in Arizona featuring names like Alex and Allyson Grey, Emancipator Ensemble, Michal Menert Trio, among others. From what we’ve read it was nothing but an enjoyable and positive experience. Apparently there was a Thriftwork b2b Russ Liquid aka a “Thriftliquid” set that was killer.
Aura Music and Arts Festival announced their day lineup, with names like Break Science, TAUK, and The Disco Biscuits, it’s sure to be a good time. If you need more convincing check out Halina’s “10 Reasons to Start Your Festival Season at AURA“.
