Five Arrows Talks Music Making, Messaging, & More [Exclusive Interview]

Five Arrows brings joy through the genres of chill and future bass with this single “Only You.” The tune works it’s magic on your with it’s eased drum work and on-point design elements. Infectiousness showcases what he is capable of in, “Only You,” and is a great vehicle into into the mind of a rising electronic talent. The verses share a story of a romance with an angle that’s a bit open ended – allowing the end listener to make their own interpretation as to what the exact meaning is.

This isn’t Five Arrow’s first go around either. He was in a metal band before starting this alias, where he played guitar. He’s now going a different direction and is open to where the journey may take him. “Only You,” is one part of a greater whole that Five Arrows is sharing at the moment.

Welcome to RaverRafting, FIVE ARROWS, and congratulations on the release of “Only You” This song gives us a sense of ease that can’t be matched. Was there a particular moment or story that inspired the creation?

Thanks a lot! I wanted to create a feel good type of track that sparked emotion throughout. I like to create music that I can relate to on a personal level in hopes that others can too!

How does it feel to have “Only You”” out to the public? Do you get a sense of closure with each release?

It feels great honestly. Yeah, every song that I release is kind of like a chapter being closed for me. It’s funny because by the time a song gets released, I can’t even listen to it anymore haha.

Could you please shine a light on the creative process when bringing this song to life?

My creative process usually starts out with a chord progression that I introduce throughout each song. Only You started with a basic piano progression, and then I built it from there.

What is the main message you hope your audience can take away from “Only You”

If there is someone out there you were wishing to reconnect with, do it! Life is so short, so take the chance.

What’s next for you?

More music on the way and collaborating with other artists. I have quite a bit of new songs I need to get out there! 🙂
