UK dubstep legend Flux Pavilion recently dropped a two-track EP with killer beats and strong hip-hop influences. The 2 tracks were released via his own label, Circus Records, in the midst of his Around the World in 80 Raves tour (which will actually span more than 80 raves).
The first track, ‘Stain,’ features hip-hop group Two-9 and is a straight banger. ‘Stain’ is a call to action, a warning to get off the dance floor if you’re not ready to throw down. This is the heavy type of track we’ve come to love and expect from Flux Pavilion.
Next up is ‘Saxophone Doom,’ featuring vocals from Jace and Curtis Williams, also of Two-9. It weaves together a haunting backtrack, snare drums you can’t help but move to, and a dark but exciting bassline. Both tracks will test the boundaries of your speakers, so consider yourself warned.
