I’ve been eagerly awaiting the ‘Blow The Roof’ EP since a preview of the moombahlicious title track came out a few weeks ago. As if the Circus Records don read my mind, Flux Pavilion has given us another taste, this time in the form of a full-length free download.
‘OneTwoThree (Make Your Body Wanna)’ kicks you in the teeth right out of the gate with a pulsing, squelchy synth, leading into some heavy low-end bass and a kick-snare pattern typical of many trap song. But once the drop hits, all thoughts of “typical trap” are out the window. Flux takes the genre and tweaks it in all the right ways, throwing plenty of Pavilion-esque wobbles and womps into the mix to create a surefire banger.
