Whenever someone mentions Flux Pavilion to me, my brain is flooded with fond memories of the first time I heard his remix of “Cracks”. So to me, it comes as no surprise that Flux has done it again with his recently released Blow The Roof EP. Comprised of 4 songs of straight Flux Pavilion and the addition of a song featuring hip-hop’s very own Childish Gambino, this EP brings the womps as well as those fantastic vocals that so eloquently compliment the progressions we’ve come to love about Flux’s style.
But enough of that jazz, lets get down to the music! The tracklist includes “The Scientist”, which is my personal favorite, “Starlight“, “I Feel It“, “OneTwoThree (Make Your Body Wanna)” and “Do or Die” which is his track featuring Childish Gambino. If you’ve got a half hour car ride or workout, I highly suggest streaming the EP mix below for some good vibes, vocals and wompage.
