In thanks to his milestone one million Facebook fans, dubstep-heavyweight Flux Pavilion has released “Standing On A Hill,” a melodic bass-heavy anthem that Flux has described as “being very special to me”. Flux Pavilion has been on the top of the dubstep movement thats been occurring these past few years ever since his mega-hit “Gold Dust” remix hit the airwaves. He’s come a long way since then, and with earning such a remarkable achievement as one million fans, the UK producer has decided to give back to those same fans.
“Standing on a Hill is a track that has been in my head for years now, and the process of writing it has been quite special for me. I want to give it out as thanks to all the people who enjoy my music and inspire me to write more.”
“Standing On A Hill” features Flux’s own vocals, as well as being a bit lighter than what we’re used to from him. Similar to new releases from him such as “The Scientist” or “Starlight”, it has an uplifting melody with his signature bass and synths. “Standing On A Hill” was actually the name of a Flux Pavilion tour a couple years ago, so the phrase must mean a lot to him. He’s even been so kind to let this one go for free. Enjoy and thank the man for all hes given us!
