There is another great single out from Fox Blanco. Based in Sweden, the trio first made a striking debut two years ago with “Change The World,” an organically catchy tune that has reached well over 30 million global streams. They are back in the spotlight with “VR” – and it comes with an official music video.
Softening slightly from their more acoustic line of songwriting, Fox Blanco up the dynamics with an electronic pop hybrid here. Slick rhythmical bite and neatly grooving synths are there to provide a backbone for its vocals, which weave in and out.
The guys explain: “VR’ is about meaningful online relationships and the urge to escape our sometimes challenging world. When responsibilities and real life are calling, you sometimes react by diving straight into a more attractive, virtual world where the weather is good and you have a ton of friends. It feels so real and good, at least for a while. It’s something many young people probably have experienced today in the online world.”
