The wait is over for Fox Stevenson’s semi-final extended premiere: As mentioned in last week’s article, “Crystal” is Fox’s third preview off of his upcoming “All This Time” EP, containing more sentimental emotion than any track Fox has premiered thus far.
Featuring a soft, echoey intro only rivaled by Fox’s own “Turn It Up (Higher,)” “Crystal” showcases the Fox Stevenson sound in the sweetest way possible. As the lyrics layer atop the sentimental beat and slow rhythm, you can’t help being filled with a happy-nostalgic feeling. At it’s core “Crystal” conveys a beat with bravado and a spoken story that all can relate to.
This Thursday will be Fox’s last exclusive extended premiere, featuring “Out There,” a track so significant that Fox decided to save it as the final premiere.
