If the freezing temperatures have you dreaming of a tropical escape to the beaches of Miami, then hold off until February and head down south for Fractal Beach Festival. Presented by festival-throwing veterans Massive Ideas, the fest will take place from February 2 – 4, at the Historic Virginia Key Beach Park in Miami. Fronting the bill is electro-psych-rock phenomenons, Papadosio. They will be joined by a number of artists included in the festival’s phase 1 and 2 lineups, like Touab Krewe, Desert Dwellers, Thriftworks, Stylust Beats, Esseks and Exmag among many others. Attendees of the fest can look forward to scenic beachside camping and Funktion One sound systems, as well as yoga classes from sunrise to sunset, creative stage design and large-scale art installations, and a wide variety of “mind-expanding” speaker series and interactive workshops.
