The Billboard editor by day, producer by night began his endeavor to remix Frankie Knuckles after his passing due to the integral role Knuckles played in his musical career. Solely leaving the vocals of the original to guide him, Sicarii holds his “smooth house” label up on a pedestal crafting coarse bass oscillations that seamlessly flow amongst bustling percussion and Chi-town samples.
Overall, Sicarii did the best job he could to respect Knuckles in a contemporary fashion and it is definitely a track that will be on repeat. Free downloads are available here.
