USC Events has just unveiled phase two of their #FREAKNIGHT2014 lineup and it promises something for everyone. If you have yet to take the festival plunge this year, or you simply can’t come to terms with the end of festival season, #FREAKNIGHT2014 offers Vancourites safe haven down in Seattle over October 31st and November 1st. Stacked with enough talent to truly warrant the title of festival, notable entries in the #FREAKNIGHT2014 lineup (in addition to iconic headliners, Kaskade and Tiesto), include:
Paul van Dyk:
Former two time DJ Mag Top 100 winner and trance virtuoso, Dyk lives for the music he plays. His live sets are always on a level all of their own, and when hear the twinkle of his fabled live chords—trance nirvana.
John Digweed:
The list of legends joining #FREAKNIGHT2014 continues with this house music leader and DJ Mag Top100 title holder. Over the last twenty five years Digweed has honed his live skills and while the art of mixing may have faded from mainstream consciousness it’s alive and well with this legend.
Krafty Kuts:
The harbinger of break beats. Holding down number one DJ three years in a row at the Breakspoll Awards and recently returning from a stint on the Red Bull Thre3Style circuit Kuts is ready to throw down some funky beats.
Oliver Heldens:
Ever since dropping his now renowned production Gecko Heldens has been unstoppable. Without question he has curated the ‘it sound’ of the moment and fans simply can’t get enough of the groovy deep bass.
Now sporting over 40 DJ’s spanning nearly every genre, #FREAKNIGHT2014 is flexing its muscle. What do you think of USC Events phase two lineup and who are your must see acts? With so many outstanding Halloween events this year will #FREAKNIGHT2014 receive you’re hard earned cash for one last festival rush? —we think so!
