The drum and bass producer Freek follows up from tunes like “Cobalt 60” and “Human Being” from last year with a set of two tunes to get 2019 started properly. He releases “Therapy” and “Lately” through Program, and neither of this pair should be missed.
If you’re into the heavier, bass-driven end of the D&B spectrum, “Therapy” is for you. A dynamic, low-end roller with clean finish and slick edits shows Freek at his best. “Lately” is another stellar offering. It takes a change of direction into more melodic territory, offering up lighter riffs and a more liquid-esque vibe to proceedings.
