Fall is upon us which means festival season is coming to an end and the fall schedule of tours and shows is in full bloom. Taking over Slake NY Friday, September 9th, is Starkey and Swindle as part of the All Grime Tour. In addition to this date, the bass heavy artist will be releasing his Odyssey Five EP.
Starkey, co-owner of the Seclusiasis and Slit Jockey record labels, is a Philadelphia-based artist known for his mix of hip-hop, bass, and is bringing grime to the US. If you’re not sure whether to check out this unique and diverse artist, check out his premiere of “Grime and Beyond” on Nest HQ.
Joining Starkey is London Native Swindle, who is known for mixing everything from dubstep to South American music and everything in between. A perfect selection to join Starkey in that, combined, their unique sounds will create a show experience unique to any other electronic fueled music.
Support will be provided by KIRU, Alex English and Jergo. Tickets are still on sale and can be purchased here. The event is 21+ with doors opening at 10 pm.
