Dundee producer FUBU and rising Swedish talent Tobtok have teamed up to bring a solid rework of the 1995 Billboard hit “Freak Like Me” via Perfect Havoc. Along with strong vocals from UK singer and songwriter Kate Wild, the duo have created a fresh, fun and high-energy remake for a new generation of dance revelers to enjoy.
Adina Howard’s sultry original take of “Freak Like Me” spent two weeks at #2 on the Billboard Top 100 chart and four weeks at #2 on the Billboard Hot R&B Singles chart, becoming a classic of the mid ’90s.
House music talent FUBU broke into the mainstream just last year with his huge rework of the classic “Oh Ohhh,” which garnered support from BBC Radio 1, Kiss FM, Capital FM and many others. It’s no wonder that he’d find himself teaming up with artist Tobtok aka Tobias Karlsson, who has generated over 300 million streams across his music globally with a double platinum record to his name in Australia with “Fast Car” featuring River.
