Taking place April 29th – May 1st 2016, Further Future 002 is taking festivities to the Mojave Desert in the second edition of this one-of-a-kind festival. Equal parts music and innovation, Further Future is unique because of its emphasis on how much more a music festival can offer outside of simply music.
Last year, guest speakers included Astro Teller of Google(x), Tony Hsieh of Zappos, and SoundCloud founders Alex Ljung and Eric Wahlforss. Topics spanned everywhere from the future of technology, to urban renewal, to the future of music and more.
Moving beyond the confines of a traditional music festival, Further Future seeks to bring together world-class musicians and artists, alongside inspiring thought leaders in the areas of science, entrepreneurship, innovation, and technology with a goal of creating a community of like minded individuals open to cultural exploration and change.
Details are sparse as of now, but be sure to keep an eye out for ticket sale and lineup announcements in the coming weeks and months. Check out the official video up top from last year’s fest to get a sense of what Further Future has to offer.
