Welcome to the 10th post of #FutureBassFridays! The last 10 weeks of future bass track compiling has been a journey of unexpected delight – but of course no week would be complete without the best, brand new future bass:
San Holo’s incredible “COSMOS” EP is getting an official remix thanks to Terravision, a sound that fully boosts the greatness of the original. Another mind-blower was “Get Lost (Kasbo Remix,)” a remix completely transforming the Icona Pop original with sweet melodies and excellent energy.

In celebration of the 10th post of #FutureBassFridays, we caught up one of the most creative and underrated artist in the scene, Blissfall.
We chatted with him from the Savannah, Georgia base, where he told us more about how the genre consumed him, his personal music background, and more.
Blissfall Interview
Where are you from?
I’m from Savannah, Georgia USA
What’s your musical background?
I’ve been producing since the beginning of 2012, but I’ve been playing piano in church for over 5 years. I also play violin, ukulele, and some guitar. All of which was self taught. I go to a performing arts school (Savannah Arts Academey) and play in the orchestra with violin. I also run the soundboard for another church.
What genres did you start out liking and how did it lead to future bass?
I was heavy into the dubstep scene back in 2011 and it was what inpsired me to make music. At that time I produced under a different name. I made dubstep, electro, and house music for about a year, but I felt like it didn’t suit me very well. In 2013, I was inspired by chillwave and chill out music, which is why I made Blissfall. This year, I started listening to more jazz and r&b and honing my skills in playing gospel music at church. I found the best combination of both jazz, hip hop, r&b, and electronic music in future bass music this year. This is where I am now and hope to expand my music to other genres.
Who has supported you and who are your influences?
So far, I’ve had support from 10A, Samuel Truth, Pusher, Chloe Martini, Trian Kayhatu, Polar Youth, M-Phazes, Future Bounce Radio, Luca Lush, and even Hot Date! strange enough. I’m heavily influenced by Wave Racer, Lido, Haywyre, Cosmo’s Midnight, XXYYXX, and Nujabes.
