This week I discovered Lido, the future bass juggernaut hailing from Norway who’s “I Love You” EP dominates the future bass scene.
Immediately after reading these words, listen to Lido’s track “Money” below. “Money’s” sound is spot-on from every angle; the music theory, catchiness, construction, et cetera – everything is perfectly aligned to form a sound that tops all sounds.
Another favorite was San Holo’s “COSMOS” EP. San combines soft, yet precise synth melodies, which seems to be a signature sound of his, on top of a unpredictable future bass beats. Each track on “COSMOS” speaks for itself, flowing very well collectively while each containing it’s own group of memorable moments.
