Treat Yourself With Galavant’s “World of Dreams” Teaser

As electronic music fans, we are often bombarded with party anthems, tracks designed to hype us up in the moment, but lacking the substance necessary to facilitate a sincere emotional connection. While these songs have a suitable time and place, many of us wish more artists would return to the motive of producing music that appeals to the human soul. For those of you longing for that spiritual encounter, look no further than Galavant’s “World of Dreams.”

An aptly named track, “World of Dreams” takes you on a heavenly tour of vocals and synths, reminding you of how music is supposed to make you feel. Galavant constructs an airy progressive house backdrop to compliment the light-hearted essence of Mary Jane Smith’s vocals, awakening a euphoric feeling in the listener. Sadly, the ecstasy is short-lived, as the teaser only lasts a brief minute and a half. This Swedish duo has definitely captured our attention, though, so look out for the full version, set to release on May 23.
