Gareth Emery Drops Anticipated ID Titled ‘Friendly Fires’

After building anticipation of the single through his live sets, Gareth Emery has revealed the track in it’s full light. “Friendly Fires,” is the single and combines trance, progressive elements, and a bit of pop all bundled together in a well-defined manner. The vibe captures a pure energy of sorts that’s hard to beat, featuring a spectrum of sonic creativity from echo-induced vocals to rudimentary trance synths that trigger a sense of nostalgia. “Friendly Fires,” is packed full of ecstatic energy that reaches it’s peak mid-way, transitioning to a drop that that pulls together all the preceding moments into a firestorm of sensation and epicenes.

Featuring vocalist Dani Poppitt, who’s worked on a plethora of big artists lately from Kaskade to Illenium, Gareth Emery has stitched together something pure at heart and certainly incorporates traits that feel close to his roots.
