Gareth Emery – The Saga [Cross-Pollination in Trance]

Trance family; immediately DJs like Armin Van Buuren and Dash Berlin come to mind.  But, one DJ/Producer who has been making a storm in the trance scene is Gareth Emery. The 31 year old English producer and DJ has made his music into a blend of all trance, house, prog, and electro. The cross polination, as Gareth likes to call it, of genres significantly shows in his newest song titled The Saga.

The Saga had been released earlier this month and is making its way through clubs and festivals around the globe. To me, the progressive house track also has a Zedd style feel to it where electro comes into play.  This cross pollination is taking over the trance world as we continue to see artists like Gareth, Tiesto, and Paul Van Dyke mixing trance from one side of the spectrum through the other.
