Touching back down in Tuscon, Arizona for its 10th year, Gem & Jam Festival has staked an early claim as one to watch on the 2016 festival circuit. Named after the internationally renowned Tuscon Gem & Mineral show, Gem & Jam features a unique combination of cutting-edge musicians, mineral showcases, art galleries, live painters and interactive workshops for attendees to participate in.
Boasting names like Beats Antique, Lettuce, The Polish Ambassador, Tycho, Ott, Minnesota, Break Science, Eliot Lipp, Desert Dwellers, Govinda, Exmag and so many more, Gem & Jam once again appears to have stuck to a particular vibe for the weekend and executed it flawlessly. Take a look towards the bottom of the bill and you’ll see one of the most intriguing names of them all. Groundbreaking visual artist Johnathan Singer is well known throughout the Tipper community and more recently, Deadheads all around while performing on the Fare Thee Well tour. Making yet another appearance this year, his visual display is extremely unique and without equal.
