Gemini has been quiet for over the past year. 2012 provided us with Fire Inside EP and Mercury EP. In 2011, Thomas Slinger, a.k.a. Gemini, was his breakout year with releasing both hit EPs Blue and Graduation.
However we have been receiving hints of his return, such as him stating on December 3, 2013 via his Facebook page:
I am so sorry that I haven’t posted in such a long time. It’s been a real journey since Mercury. A lot has happened to me over the last year,… I’ve written hundreds of pieces of music… I can’t put a date on when the next piece of music will be out… I will promise you this – the next thing you’ll be listening to is a full length Gemini album… I have a few remixes that I will be posting on here in the coming months…
And today we have the first of those remixes, ironically ‘Still Here’ by Hobbie Stuart. Like the 2011 releases of ‘Graduation’ and ‘Blue’, Thomas combines his classical tones with smooth and symphonic synths to inspire us all.
