What Gen Y Thinks of Vaski’s New EP ‘Weightless’

Vaski’s newest video featuring Beak Nasty has dropped just a few days before the release of his newest EP entitled Weightless. While Vaski’s EP has gained a lot of buzz as an eclectically diverse album, his newest music video is gaining a lot of buzz through viewers as being very relatable.

The video follows a typical non-directional teenager through the struggles of suburban life in Minneapolis. After getting in a fight with his father over the underlying argument of where he is going in life, the main character named James Jr. storms out and pursues a night of his own liking. We follow James Jr. through a night of hot women, robberies, and skinny dipping in neighbor’s pools. While sifting through some comments of the video, it is apparent that many teens and young adults can relate to James Jr.’s struggles and admirations. Take a look:
