VA/ DC based duo Gent & Jawns released a dirty bubblin’ trap original called TURNUP about 30 minutes ago and it may be the biggest drop of December. Before you press play I suggest plugging into a worthy set of speakers without fear of neighborly retaliation for the level of bass at this time of night. TURNUP is full of patented swagger, an absolute must in order for artists’ to define a reputation as a cornerstone in the flooded market that trap has become. This track is a clean, lively, big room trap anthem which I expect to hear in sets in due time.
Although G&J may not be household names throughout the scene, they are widely respected amongst other artists and bolster support from Diplo, Mad Decent, Bro Safari, Tittsworth and and so many more. I’ve seen a number of heads rocking the logo T around at shows from DC to Richmond (the pride of my city).
