German Brigante’s ‘The Opposite’ EP Kicks Off 2018 for Dirtybird Records

After his last appearance on Dirtybird Records with the track “Noose” released on the Dirtybird Campout Compilation for 2016 which he also performed at, German Brigante returns for his first EP The Opposite. The Spanish producer & DJ hailing from Malaga, Spain with the German name is here to set the record straight that not all tech house is created the same. Perfect for Dirtybird’s first release of 2018.

The two-track EP first includes the title track that needs to be heard with your speakers loud and bass-ready. By 2:00 with a break already under it’s belt, has a complexity of acid, techno, and bass all climax into an ocean of sounds all playing harmoniously off one another. “Keep Up” switch to the dark side, with stressful synths, a rolling bass/acid line, and lyrics “she’s a keeper!” mentally pairing with a horror film, it’s quite “The Opposite” from the title track, and perhaps that’s the way it was meant to be.
