Popped, the new music streaming app, is a functional, beautiful app that makes listening and saving songs you didn’t know you loved easy.
The app has four columns and a giant “P,” – for Popped – in the center, when it’s first opened. It’s simple – click the Popped button, like tracks to go in your personal playlist, dislike tracks you don’t want hear again.
The four columns consist of: a frequency bar that takes you back to the Popped music player, the “Playlist” tab, which show your personal playlist, as well as friends and groups personal playlists. The “Popped 25” column essentially showcases the top 25 most liked tracks on Popped, giving a nice selection of new tunes filter by fans. The “Activity” column is pretty obvious; the place that shows your recent interactions within Popped.
All in all, the apps works super smoothly and has a minimal learning curve. As the app grows, I can see it having a great, loyal fan base – the platform set up here nurtures that element righteously.
