If you’re not dialed in to the magic coming out of the music hub of Athens, Georgia, there’s no better time like the present to check it out. Pure Colors, hailing from Athens, Georgia, is the funk fusion new side project by Nifty Earth’s drummer, Joey Tuholski. “The Mind Is Time” hits you with the smooth disco feels in the same neighborhood as GRiZ and Pretty Lights, but still with it’s own original spin. Credit to Malik Henry and Josh Klein of Mister Tye-Dye on the horns and Matt Pyecha on guitar for the killer instrumentals on the track.
