It’s no secret that there are common elements between the genres future bass and deep house. GFTD & Dan Bravo certainly aren’t the first to try (or succeed) at mashing the two smooth genres together. With that said, their version of the hybrid idea is on point to say the least.
“The Blvd” builds in the deep house elements more from the percussion side while the future bass aspects are conveyed in the chorus and via the synth in this one. You can feel the touches these two put on this to really make this fit, as the two sounds seemingly tumble together in harmony, their parts working off each other to make a wholesome, enjoyable multi-genre experience.
“The Blvd” stands out due to its hybrid nature at its core and stunning vocal accompaniment on the surfance. I can only hope these two will team up for a future release soon.
