Charlie Yin, better known as Giraffage, has been teasing us with tracks from his highly anticipated debut album, Too Real for quite some time now. Just last week, we saw the release of the ten track intimate album which features fellow artists, Japanese Breakfast, Body Language’s Angelica Bess, Matosic, and Harrison Lipton.
In support of Too Real, Giraffage is embarking on a huge US and European tour with one of his stops hitting Phoenix, Arizona at Crescent Ballroom on November 30th. The Phoenix stop will include appearances from supporting acts, Sweater Beats and Wingtip. Giraffage’s upcoming performances will be some of his very best, as he is introducing a live set with all original music and remixes, futuristic stage design and production, and most importantly, as he stated on his Facebook page “good vibes all around”.
Too Real is a very personal project for Yin, as it was written while he was battling depression and it is apparent that he has poured his heart and soul into not only the album, but the accompanying tour as well. If you’re a fan of dreamy downtempo synth-pop driven beats and R&B melodies, then do not miss the opportunity to witness Giraffage live. Grab your tickets here and take a listen to Too Real below in preparation for the upcoming show!
