Liquid Stranger had a huge year in 2016, and he planning on making 2017 even better. He started the year off with the release of his new Weird & Wonderful EP and it is massive. This release will be sure to put Liquid Stranger on top.
Weird & Wonderful begins with “Launch,” a chill, deep track that will be sure to get you moving. This track has a hint of futuristic electronica and it kicks off the EP with a bang. Next is “Who,” which has more of an upbeat tone to it. This beat is one you can’t sit down to. After “Who” comes “SPACEBOSS,” a track featuring the one and only Space Jesus. This track is already very widely known from Liquid Stranger and Space Jesus both playing it throughout 2016 on their tour stops, and it is already a crowd favorite with its deep wubs and heavy bass. “Frankenskank,” which is a collaboration with Mr Bill, has a funky, reggae back tone behind it.
Following is “Hotbox,” a deep banger you would expect from such a great artist like Liquid Stranger. This tune will definitely get the party going. Last, but surely not least, is “Get Well Soon (Aaron),” a track dedicated to Bleep Bloop that was written while he was sick during his tour last year. This beat definitely has a chill vibe and would is a wonderful, melancholic tune that adds some refreshment to this EP.
Liquid Stranger’s Weird & Wonderful EP is definitely one for the books, and you should give it a listen if you haven’t already.
