We here at RaverRafting.com love intimate editorials in blog posting. We love a little break from the norm of artist news and releases and tour dates and gossip, and getting a little more into the scene with the love and art behind it.
Our friends over at GloFX do a couple different things. Obviously they sell rave gear, from clothing to diffraction glasses to orbits and poi. They also however, have a blog they keep up with. Things like festival survival guides to their favorite tracks to get your workout jump-started. And then they have some writing like this particular article we recently read. Flow Arts: A Journey of Self-Discovery.
Kevin himself is the catalyst in the article. At the time, A young, misunderstood 18 year old kid. When I say misunderstood, I don’t mean by others, I mean by himself. A person uncomfortable in his own skin. One day, he gets his orbit, and everything changes.
I am Kevin, and flow arts opened a door to a new reality with more possibilities than I could ever of dreamed.
I realized that flow arts is all I needed to be happy, and what better place to flow than at a festival full of amazing music and even more amazing people.
This self-discovery occurred only after I realized my source of happiness is inside of me, and not in the intimate exchanges of smiles, hugs, and kisses. Flow arts connects me with my higher power, and because of this I’ve had the most incredible times of my life at EDM festivals simply by flowing and being myself.
This really is a very heartfelt article that we can tell that Kevin reached deep down to spill himself onto his digital canvas. Everyone has their reason for raving and what got them into the scene they love so much, and we love seeing this side of someone’s passion. Which is also another reason we really like GloFX in itself. GloFX isn’t just a brand trying to make money off an exploding industry. GloFX comes across as a brand really geared toward the people they sell to. They want to open people’s eyes to an experience and a world of light to make people happier, and more approachable. A light that radiates from every single being, and not just a flow toy. It’s an expression of one’s self, and it shows in what GloFX does and the values they portray with their message.
For those who buy their products and want to learn the art, they’ve even made a learning center for people to get a complete breakdown of every form of flow arts. From the anatomy of the product itself, to the basics of moves and how to learn them. Check the learning center here for a little assistance with your preferred flow art.
Be sure and check out the GloFX blog – The Rage and get your rave gear, flow arts technology and more here. And of course don’t forget to check out Kevin’s Orbiter page on Facebook Prophet – Orbiter.
