Gold Fields’ remix of Empire of the Sun’s “Alive” is refreshing and it’s most likely because of their writing style. This Australian quintet went through three different versions of their debut album, “Black Sun”, before finally meeting their extraordinarily high expectations. Their attention to detail and determination is clearly reflected in their latest offering. The rearranged vocal play gives this remix a comfortable groove and compliments the groups original melodies and fills.
These guys are hoping to embark on a massive North American Live tour and their asking for a little bit of help from their fans. Right now their Kickstarter sits at $9,150 with a pledged goal of $10,000 (30 hours to go). If you have any money to spare I’m sure they would greatly appreciate it.
