Golden Child has joined forces with none other than Cvrrent and Dabu for a trippy, spiritual-tinged bass track that hits the spot in so many ways. “Jabba,” is the title of the release, featuring TroyBoi-esque percussion, sedating synth work, and a soulful r&b vocal that ascends the experience to a hype new plataeu. Clearly these 3 were meant to work together – the energy between them has rendered something unequivocally timeless.
Golden Child is New Jersey based, 24 years old, and has a focus on musicianship and visual art. Having a love for experimental trap music and inspired by artists like TroyBoi, Mr. Carmack, and Monte Booker – the potential in him is immeasurable – the man is going places.
Based in Florida, Cvrrent isn’t afraid to tackle various genres and his catalog of songs shows it. Jazz fusion, soul, hip-hop, and orchestral music are all in his background, all of which comes into play when creating his dynamic and sometimes theatrical releases.
Dabu is a singer/songwriter who has a total devotion to music. Embracing the love and connection that music can bring to a community, he implements this type of culture into the music he makes. Not afraid to push the limits with his both sensual and rhythmic style, he’s one to watch out for to say the least.
