Goshfather & Jinco and Sasha Grey have transformed Pras, Ol’ Dirty Bastard and R&B singer Mýa’s “Ghetto Superstar” into an insane anthem suitable for the dance-floor. The 1998 released hip hop record, which was originally produced by Wyclef Jean and Jerry Duplessis, has received a make over which includes vocal pitching, dirty synths, solid percussion and a subtle kick drum pattern.
This track is by no means a “banger,” but an absolute party starter in its own respect. The only think I noticed was that Ol’ Dirty Bastard was left out of this rendition. Perhaps his style just didn’t fit the vision. Nonetheless, this is an outstanding record and you can download it for free.
