Gramatik is taking it back to the old-school with the release of his latest EP entitled “Street Bangerz Vol. 4”. It’s a compilation of instrumental tracks that were made during the production of SB1, but didn’t make it onto the album. Staying true to his philosophy “freeing music by making music free”, he plans to release the entire EP as a free download. With this release he gave this statement,
“Remember when I used to make all those simple, raw, sample-based hiphop beatz? You know, the ones that the snobby part of my fanbase can’t stop crying about? Well, I was going through my digital basement the other day and I found like 22 of them. These tracks are great for when you feel like kicking back and listening to something to chill and vibe to. It’s nice to see artists going back to their roots, it allows fans that haven’t followed them from the very beginning to get a sample of how they started out. Expect a download link soon.
