Gramatik Embarks on Re:Coil Tour and Drops Hot New Single “Aymo”

Gramatik had been a longstanding figure in the bass music scene, a unique character of continual growth and diversity. Now, nearly ten years after his first release in 2008, the seasoned producer is preparing to deliver yet another exciting addition to his discography. On October 20th Gramatik will drop his Re:Coil Pt. 1 EP, which is to be followed up with a deep 26 stop European tour run.

To prove just how crazy this project and tour will be, the producer recently released the lead single ‘Aymo’, which features legendary rapper Talib Kweli, as well as the talented trumpet player Balkan Bump, who Gramatik recently signed to his label Lowtemp Music. The track is a massive melting pot of everything that is hot in the dance music scene right now – huge drums and 808s, world music influence, and hiphop vocals – while still maintaining a very original and intoxicating self-identity. There is never a dull moment throughout the track because each individual section has so much diversity and attention to detail that your brain never gets the chance to feel like it knows what’s coming next.
