After what seems like an eternity, the City of Brotherly Love will welcome in Gramatik and friends this Friday for an unforgettable night of music at The Fillmore. Fresh off opening night last Saturday in NYC, Denis is bringing along his cross-country Epigram Tour to satisfy Grammadicts far and wide. Support from Jai Wolf, Mark Farina, Brasstracks and Jenaux will round out the bill for the night.
Ever since the release of Street Bangerz Vol. 1 in 2008, Gramatik has been one of the most influential figures in the electronic music scene. Sampling from a wide variety of genres and infusing it with classic hip-hop beats in a way only he can, Denis long ago carved out a style of music which is easy to pick out of the crowd.
In preparation for the big night we’ve put together a playlist showcasing the assortment of talent on the bill. We all know what to expect with Gramatik, but prepare to be pleasantly surprised if you’re not too familiar with the supporting cast. A mix of Gramatik classics and great, soothing tracks like Brasstrack’s remix of “Ignition” should be all you need to get stoked for Friday night.
