GRiZ and Ganja White Night’s ‘Ease Your Mind’ Is A Certified Banger

There’s nothing more fun than when two – technically, three – artists bring their unique sounds together to make a perfectly balanced collab, and that’s exactly what Ganja White Night and GRiZ have done.

After teasing us with a short preview clip last summer, they finally release “Ease Your Mind”, just in time to become the ultimate summer anthem.

The track opens with whimsical vocals layered over breakbeat that then incorporate slick guitar and bass loops, reminding us that “everything is fine, so fine”. The first drop at 0:49 seamlessly mixes their combined funk-step styles, before returning to a meditative bridge. We hear those GRiZ horns start to build up for a very ‘saxy’ second drop at 2:06 (which takes us right back to his A Fine Way To Die days!). At 3:26, the Ganja fellas let loose with their full-body wobbles to wrap up the track with a burst of adrenaline.

The release is paired with a fully animated music video by My Name Is Ebo, a Belgian illustrator and long time collaborator with GWN and their label, Subcarbon Records. The video features two well known GRiZ and GWN characters, Mr. B. and Mr. Wobble, going on a wild, technicolor adventure induced by special gummy bears.
