Electrofunk young-gun Griz has big plans in store in the near future, including his first-ever national headlining tour, his second full-length album, and now it appears a remix of the famed Canadian duo Zeds Dead. Grant “Griz” Kwiecinski contacted the two on Twitter, expressing his desire to remix their newest release “Jericho”. Of course, Zeds Dead were completely for it, and it appears Griz may be already working on it as we speak.
Griz has always been a champ at remixes, my personal favorite being his remix of Kanye West’s “Can’t Tell Me Nothing”. “Jericho” seems perfect for a Griz remix with it already having a soulful feel to it. Griz has an uncanny ability to meld funk, soul, dubstep and electro in such an effortless way, so I expect his remix to be absolutely huge. Keep your ears peeled for a “Jericho” remix dropped live on his upcoming fall tour.
