After years of meteoric success, Griz has finally been rewarded for his hard work with his first-ever national headlining tour. Griz has been on such a rise since mid-2012 with the release of his debut album ‘Mad Liberation’, and ever since has been getting absolutely huge, supporting acts like Bassnectar on tour and playing massive sets at festivals like Electric Forest. Now, he finally is given the spotlight he deserves with the ‘Rebel Era’ fall tour.
Featuring the release of his new album ‘Rebel Era’ and a new lighting design, Griz will be hitting 32 cities this fall along with support from Pegboard Nerds, Two Fresh, SuperVision, The Floozies, and Anvil Smith. I personally am incredibly excited for this tour; Griz is such a unique artist, bringing so much energy to his sets, blending hard-hitting dubstep tracks with the funkiness of his saxophone. The support he’s got on tour features some of most up-and-coming groups in the scene right now as well, so you can bet that every stop is going to be off the wall.
Tickets go on sale Friday at 10AM MST, with a limited amount of pre-sale tickets going out Wednesday at 12PM EST through ThisSongIsSick.
