Groove Cruise L.A. and Whet Travel have us ready to pack our bags and hit the high seas with their phase two lineup boasting an incredible roster for their 30th journey. The original EDM festival at sea will have the GCFam board ship this October sailing from San Diego to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Both veterans and newcomers are set to experience the ultimate music paradise, with tunes booming throughout the cabins before we port in Cabo to keep the party going on the shore at the famous ME Cabo resort.
The first phase had everyone in a buzz with top class artists like Shiba San, Benny Benassi, Cosmic Gate, and Laidback Luke to take to the decks. Now, they have perfected the soundtrack to this year’s cruise, with top selections for all of us house, trance, and techno fiends. The headliners will be joined by the green mohawk techno legend Green Velvet, Detroit house prodigy Marc Kinchen (MK), and Blasé Boys Club owner Duke Dumont. They will be joined by the Desert Hearts crew, Chus & Ceballos, and the dynamic L.A. based duo Two Friends. On top of all of that, there are a bunch of new acts joining us, like funk-centric Secondcity, Dirtybird newcomer Omnom, and Sirius XM BPM resident Liquid Todd.
Of course, it wouldn’t be Groove Cruise if they didn’t create something new for fans. This year they will be introducing the very first EMBARK: Trance experience, featuring John 00 Fleming, Alex Di Stefana, Paul Thomas, Factor B, and Monoverse. More information to come, but they want all captains to prepare for the ultimate moving, transformative journey. We will also be seeing Dumont bring his club to the beaches of Cabo and plenty of stage takeovers spanning from Basement Leak and Mixmash Records to Relief Recoreds and Stereo Productions.
So, obviously we will see you port side the Norwegian Pearl this October.
