Scottish born producer Graeme Shepherd aka Grum first splashed onto the dance scene in the early 2000’s producing disco-house. He soon gained notoriety in the progressive house realm with his 2008 release of Heartbeats. Fast forward a few more years and he would be performing mainstage Ultra with Above & Beyond. Grum quickly became a favorite of the Anjunabeats label collaborating with fellow artists like Andrew Bayer and Ilan Bluestone. He was featured on Anjunabeats’ 2016 North American tour and is following suit for their upcoming 2017 tour.
Recently premiered as the record of the week on Above & Beyond’s Group Therapy 218 is Grum’s rework of Tears For Fears‘, Shout. Grum puts his spin on this classic and offers an electro-trance banger that is reminiscent of all Anjunabeats releases. The track kicks off with Tears For Fears’ iconic vocals placed over a subtle build up. Grum then kicks the track into high gear come the first drop putting forth some gritty, dark electro trance that is sure to get your week into full swing. The fast paced rhythm makes for ecstatic track and is exactly what we’ve been waiting for.
Tired of your cookie cutter progresssive trance? Look no further as Grum is dishing out your daily dose of hardcore electro trance. A more than fitting track for the clan of Anjunabeats artists and we can be sure to hear it at their upcoming tour dates. Prepare to get in the zone as this rhythmic remix will have you in an endless trance (no pun intended).
