When you dive into the world of electronic music, some folks just play the game, while others change the rules. Gryffin is totally one of those rule changers. With his background as a classically trained pianist and some smooth guitar skills, he’s not just any DJ – he’s got that special touch.
Gryffin first caught our ears mixing tunes for stars like Tove Lo and Maroon 5. But when he started dropping his own tracks, like “Heading Home” with Josef Salvat, it was clear he wasn’t just about remixing – he was reshaping the electronic landscape.
Then came Gravity in 2019. This album was like his mixtape to the world. It wasn’t a surprise when it hit the top of Billboard’s Dance/Electronic Albums chart. And since then he’s been on fire, giving us hits like “Safe with Me” and the 2022 collab “You Were Loved” with OneRepublic. Most of these awesome tracks are packed into his second album, Alive.
Now, here’s the fun part: Gryffin’s bringing his magic to Colorado. After getting crowds hyped at big festivals like Electric Daisy Carnival and Electric Zoo, he’s about to light up the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison. He’s doing two shows, and while the 10/24 gig is already sold out (bummer, I know), the 10/25 one, dubbed GRAVITY: THE RETURN, is gonna be epic – it’s a nod to his older jams, especially for folks who missed the 2020 version off this event.
So, if you’re all about those emotional bass journeys that make you feel something deep down, Gryffin’s Colorado gigs are where it’s at. Catch you there!
