Halloween is that special time of year for a lot of people, but not for the EDM family. We’re used to expressing ourselves openly, positively, weirdly, and freely without judgement. But that doesn’t mean that we won’t hold back taking it to the next level for Halloween and/or Day of the Dead like this pro here.
But aside from the costumes, the lights, stages, and production value for 2014, if anything like 2013, it will be insanity. Start off with a little Skrillex.
Throw in a little weirdness.
And top it off with some Boys Noize.
Everyone knows Halloween, but you’ve got to go HARD if you want to do Day of the Dead right.
But even so, there are some spectacular costumes and outfits at all festivals, and the same insanity when it comes to stage production as well. What really makes Day of the Dead stand out, and make people say, holy shit balls, is the lineup. And let’s be honest, the first thing that had every techno fan salivating was first the rumors of THE Deadmau5 and Eric Prydz collaborating with this preview…
And then seeing on the lineup “Deadmau5 B2B Eric Prydz” made everyone say F*CK YEAH! And we were not strangers to the same reaction. Finally, finally, finally is the only true thing that one can say. This will be a performance that you cannot miss.
But the others than can also bring that darkness, the rebirth, the true feeling of Day of the Dead will all be present. Knife Party, Seven Lions, Zeds Dead, Destructor, Eats Everything, Kill Frenzy, Galantis, Alesia, and so many more. I’ll just stop right now and let you take it all in.
As the flyer says, pre-sale tickets go live tomorrow at 10am PST (1pm EST) so make sure you’re ready and online here.
