The countdown is on – only twenty one more days till HARD Summer 2017 kicks off celebrating its 10th year anniversary. However, announced only five days ago, the festival is changing locations yet again; this time to Glen Helen Amphitheater & Regional Park (only 12 miles away from the Speedway). All tickets purchased prior to the switch will still be honored and the artist lineup/ schedule will remain the same. Other than relocating a couple times, not much has changed about the festival since its launch all the way back in 2007. Even after all of these years, HARD still remains to be one of the most consistently stacked lineups of the summer festival season. Known for mixing Hip-Hop and dance music moreso than any other festival, this year will be no different with acts ranging from Dog Blood to Migos to Tchami to Zeds Dead.
Even with all of the tremendous success HARD has received over the past decade, it has also endured its fair share of hard days. With the death of five event-goers in just last two years, founder Gary Richards has had to make a few changes in order to ensure the safety of all attendees. Doing things like adding more water features, upping security at checkpoints, and bringing the stages closer together so people don’t have to walk as far will hopefully make a big impact in keeping people safe. HARD has always delivered unforgettable experiences to millions of fans and we are sure this year will do just that. Festival and camping passes for HARD Summer at The Glen Helen Amphitheater & Regional Park are on sale and can be purchased through Ticketmaster.com.
