Hardwell was one of several massive DJs to kick off Electric Zoo 2012. He started off his hour and fifteen minute time slot with ‘Spaceman’ mashed with ‘Toca’s Miracle’. Wasting no time he dropping bangers left and right. As the first ten minutes passed it was clear that we were in for a treat. When you listen to this set you’ll find yourself flirting with an array of emotions, this is definitely in part to his phenomenal track selection. Hardwell’s bootlegs and mixing ability gave me goosebumps.
Aside from Electric Zoo Hardwell also played an official after party at the Roseland Ballroom. The venue complimented his heavy bass music. He dropped Pendulum’s ‘The Island’ acappella on top of Tommy Trash’s Instrumental Remix of ‘Ladi Dadi’ at Electric Zoo and Roseland Ballroom, the mix instantly became my new favorite track.
